Our team of consultants, Public Works LLC, has been working tirelessly to draft our country’s first housing policy and strategic plan, which aims to address the housing needs and concerns of all residents.
Since November 2023, the consultants have been meeting with the community to gather your valuable input. Here’s what’s been done:
-
Website created to provide information on the policy and plan and allow persons to provide comments and participate in the survey.
-
Held numerous stakeholder meetings and focus groups.
-
Sister Islands town hall meeting January 30th.
-
A virtual town hall meeting was held on February 1st.
Public survey launched on March 18th – ended April 19th.
The Public Works LLC consulting team is working on completing the draft policy and plan, taking your feedback into consideration. Once this has been done, it will be presented to Cabinet for their review followed by a public presentation of the final policy and plan.
Whether you attended or participated in a meeting, focus group, town hall meeting or the survey, thank you!!! Your feedback has been instrumental, and we’re eager to continue working together to create a community where everyone can thrive.
